Stories of Our Being: Indigenous Origins in Nebraska

Tue, Jan 20, 8–8:30pm

Come into a traditional lodge, or tipi, that will rise inside The Joslyn, to listen to stories that have been shared with Steve Tamayo (Sicangu Lakota), Omaha-based artist and National Heritage Fellow. The tipi will light up with live image mapping projection art, as people of all ages are welcomed inside to hear stories of origin and belonging.

The exhibition Dripping Earth: Cannupa Hanska Luger and the Museum’s American galleries will be open this evening, 5–9 pm. All other areas of The Joslyn will be closed during this program. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your storytelling session.
