Quite an Impression!
Sat: Nov 21, Dec 5, 12, 19; 10 am–noon
Take a trip to nineteenth-century Paris and discover paintings by Renoir, Degas, and Van Gogh! Students will explore Impressionist techniques such as loose brushstrokes, layered color, visible mark-making, and the playful use of light and movement. Through color mixing and expressive painting activities, students will create impressionistic paintings inspired by people, objects, and landscapes.
