Drawing: Rendering the Real  

Fri: Oct 30, Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 4, 11; 10 am–noon (no class Nov 27) 

This class will build upon basic drawing skills and teach more advanced rendering techniques through in-depth studies of concepts like perspective, composition, and shading. Students will refine their understanding of value, form, and space through direct observation of still-life arrangements and detailed feedback in class critiques. Paintings in the European galleries will guide us as we learn to draw realistic objects and spaces using graphite and charcoal.
